The Shoot
Me and some friends of mine had been on this roadtrip to Florida, and we'd tried to outdo each other with our 'photography' skills. For purposes of 'relative' anonymity lets call the three stooges(Yes!!We were three), J~ , V ~ and S~, and here are their masterpieces.
J~'s entry, titled 'The Watchtower', a snap clicked in the everglades.
S~'s entry, titled 'Born Free', taken in Keywest, Florida.
And V~'s entry, titled 'Flying high', clicked in Keywest, Florida. BTW..That's one of us up there!!

Well...I found it difficult to choose between S & V...
1. V - Flying high (liked the good use of light)
2. S - Born Free
3. J - The Watchtower
First of all, Suki...that was the height of anonymity!!! i was left wondering>:)
now, to the pics....no offense meant, but i would say that while V's is pretty decent, i personally find it a lil morose(sorry!)...J's picture caught contradictions together in one go, say like a a dry tree and a green one, an overcast part of the sky next to the clear one...pretty neat! The picture by S was good in the sense that it had the right effects for a kid, without making it look consciously taken taht way...pretty natural...the postcard types...
So, my vote goes as:

2)S
3)V
to A~ : Well!! I never claimed 'total' anonymity...
The Fine print says 'relative' anonymity :)..
2nd the best.. 1 st next best and 3 rd the last

well two thumbs up for the "Born Free" S-'s entry....and for the "Watch Tower " good job dude..and for " Flying high " thats a pushover entry..

S~'s snap tops the list. Apart from the choice of subject, have never seen such better lighting and colour combinations. Way to go S~.

Why are most of the ratings anonymous?? Something fishy!!
Immaterial of the anonymous vote,I think S~'s photo would bag the prize just for it sheer concept. S~ is my winner anyday. J~ is good but not good enough. V~ is better off without any comments.
