The Business of Ideas.

I'm quite the confused PhD student and my favourite pastime is to try and allay my fears by asking fellow PhD students as to why they chose to do a PhD. Though it sounds absurd, I feel very secure when their reasons coincide with mine!!.The other day,my colleague remarked
'We are in Business my friend, we're in the Business of Ideas!!.'
Although I do not clearly understand what it implies, I'm neverthless comforted by the fact that I'm in Business.
